Forward calls to other numbers
Use call forwarding settings to forward calls to external numbers or other extensions on the account.
Permissions: Cloud User & Administrator
Call Forwarding Configuration
1.Access Call Forwarding Settings
In the My FluentCloud Portal, select the Call Management tab followed by Forwarding on the drop-down menu.
2. Enable Call Forwarding
Click on the Turn On Call Forwarding button to turn call forwarding on (if not enabled).
3. Create and Customize Call Forwarding Settings
Once enabled, you will be presented a list of forwarding conditions as follows:
Always Forward: Calls to your extension will always be automatically forwarded to the number listed in the “Always Forward” box.
Forward on Busy: Incoming calls to an extension while “Busy” will be redirected to the On Busy Application, which can include a different extension, voicemail, call group etc.
Follow Me: This will allow incoming calls to be forwarded to a group of external numbers or extensions with specific conditions. For example, calls can be forwarded so that your external numbers ring simultaneously with your extension during certain times of the day.
Call Forwarding Tips and Tricks
Call forwarding settings include a list of options that include notifying the caller that calls are being forwarded, keeping the original caller ID and more.
Call forwarding settings do not apply to extensions when they are being reached through a call group or a queue.
