Factory Reset Instructions

There are 3 ways to perform a factory reset for the VTech VSP/VCS Series Devices:

  1. If using the AC Adapter

    1. MUST BE USING AC ADAPTER FOR THIS (will not work with PoE)

    2. Plug the AC adapter into the device and allow it to boot up completely.

    3. Within 5 minutes of the device booting up, enter ***3332858#.

    4. The Message Waiting indicator will flash if entered successfully, and the device will factory reset.

  2. Through the Phone Menu

    1. Navigate using the phone buttons to Menu > Admin Settings > Select.

    2. Press the 123 soft key to change encoding to lowercase letters, then enter admin as the password.

    3. Scroll down to Reset to Default.

    4. Press the Yes soft key to confirm the factory reset.

  3. Through the Web UI

    1. Obtain the IP address of the device by navigating to Menu > Status > Network > IPv4.

    2. Enter the IP address into a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as the device.

    3. Enter admin for both the username and password.

    4. Click SERVICING in the upper-left of the window.

    5. Click Provisioning on the left side of the window.

    6. Scroll down and click Reset at the bottom of the screen.

    7. Click OK when the pop-up message appears to confirm the factory reset.

    8. Click Save.



Provisioning a VTech VCS/VSP Phone

  1. Obtain the IP address of the device by navigating to Menu > Status > Network > IPv4.

    1. You may already have this from when you did the factory reset

  2. Enter the IP address into a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as the device.

  3. Enter admin for both the username and password.

  4. Click SERVICING in the upper-left of the window.

  5. Click Provisioning on the left side of the window.

  6. Under Provisioning Server, enter in our address as shown below:

    1. http://p.fluentcloud.com/{mac}.cfg

    2. Example:

      1. http://p.fluentcloud.com/123aaa456bbb.cfg

  7. Click Save at the bottom of the Provisioning page
