How to set up Voicemail Drop Recordings

 

Voicemail Drop is a feature that allows you to send pre-recorded voicemail messages to the voicemail box of unanswered outbound calls. 

 

With this feature, you can add a personalized introduction, set an introductory countdown, and add as many recordings as needed. This is a great feature for sales and support teams who make multiple outbound calls and want the ease of dropping in a pre-recorded message.

 

Permissions: Cloud User & Administrator

 

Voicemail Drop Recording Configuration

 

1. Select Call Management

2. Select Voicemail Drop

3. Select the Blue Plus mark to create new recordings.

4. Use the search bar to search for existing recordings. 

5. Existing recordings will populate beneath the search bar. 

6. After selecting Add New, you can record the new recording directly from the browser.

  1. Press the Microphone Icon to Begin recording.

  2. Select the Cloud Icon to Download the created recording.

  1. Give the recording a Title. 

    1. Note: Please avoid using and Special Characters or Spaces in recording names, use only letters and numbers. 

  2. If using with a physical phone give the recording a feature code. 

    1. Note: The Feature code to us the recording will be *99+ the number selected, 0-9.

  3. Enable to allow an Introduction Countdown that allow for a greeting before the recording. 

  4. Press Submit to save the recording or any changes to the recording. 

7. Alternatively, when selecting to Add a New recording, you can Upload a Recording. 

  1. Select Chose a file to search computer files for the existing recording. 

    1. Note: Please avoid using and Special Characters or Spaces in recording names, use only letters and numbers. 

  2. If using with a physical phone give the recording a feature code.

    1. Note: The Feature code to us the recording will be *99+ the number selected, 0-9.

  3. Enable to allow an Introduction Countdown that allow for a greeting before the recording. 

  4. Press Submit to save the recording or any changes to the recording.
