1. Outbound Dialing
First select the Dialer. You may click the numbers on the dailpad with your mouse or use the numbers on your keyboard to enter the number.
2. Inbound Calls
You will get a "Call Ringing" screen on the plugin. You may choose to Answer or Decline the call.
If you have pop ups enabled, you will also receive a pop up and the bottom left hand side of your screen.
3. Active Call Handling
You have the ability to place an active call on Hold and Mute, along with a couple of transfer options.
a) Blind Transfer: Hit TRANSFER. You will then see a blank field with a green arrow below. Simply type in the phone number or extension and then click that green arrow again to complete the transfer.
b) Attended Transfer: While on a call you will need to initiate a second call. To complete this click on the Dialer. (This will automatically place the primary call on hold).
Once in the dialer, enter the number that you want to send the transfer to and hit "Call". This is your opportunity to discuss the transfer with the receiving end.
Return to the primary call and select ATT. TRAN. You will then see a drop down menu that says "select participant". Select the active call representing the recipient of the transfer and click the green arrow button to send the call.
c) Also available is Voicemail Drop: To perform a Voicemail Drop, select the "VM DROP" button when you are prepared to drop the voicemail into the other end's voicemail box. Select the voicemail you want to send, then hit the green envelop icon that has appeared.
*It is important to note that the Voicemail Drop setting is enabled per extension. You will need to make sure that the extension used in Fluentcloud for O365 has this feature setup individually. Refer to the first section of this article for additional information on this feature.
