FluentStream allows you to customize which inbound and outbound calls are recorded and saved on the portal. To allow functionality with the recording feature, there are a few different ways to set up call recording for your FluentStream account.

To utilize any type of call recording application, first you will want to take a look at your Account Settings:

Recording All Calls – Account Settings:

This setting will override any other settings on the account. If your call recording is set to “no”, however you have recording enabled on a Call Group, it will NOT record. For configuring Queue call recording please see refer to that section below.

1. Once you are logged into the portal, go to “Account”, then "Settings”

2. Under the “General Settings” select “Recording Setting”

3. Here, you can select the default for how the recording functions on your account.

No – will not record. If set to “No” this will override any call recording settings at the call group, queue, or extension settings.

Yes – will default to record all calls, except Queue calls. Queue call recording must be set at the Queue level. Please see below for how to enable that.

Configure Per Extension – allows call recording on the account, however, you manually set which extensions, phone numbers, or call groups you would like to record. Please see the steps below for how to do this.
