The following guide will walk you through the process of provisioning your Cisco 7960G phone to work on FluentCloud’s new and improved hosted phone system. Please note that you may contact a FluentStream Support Technician to assist you with this provisioning process. To contact support dial (303) GO-CLOUD and Select Option 2 for Support.

Step 1 —Reset Phone to Factory Default


Before you begin configuring your phone to work with the new FluentCloud platform you will first need to restore the Cisco phone to its original factory settings. To do this, unplug the power cable from the phone, and then plug it back in. As soon as the phone starts to power on, press and hold the # button until the Headset, Mute, and Speakerphone buttons begin to flash in sequence, and the screen displays "Button Sequence Detected". Press 123456789*0# within 60 seconds after the Headset, Mute, and Speakerphone buttons begin to flash. If you enter the key sequence correctly, the phone will display "Keep Network Cfg?" Select 2 for no.

STEP 2 —Phone Configuration


Once the phone is booted back up, hit the Settings button and scroll down to Unlock Config (option 9). Hit Select and type in password ‘cisco’. If you do not see an Unlock Config option, please try pressing **#, and then select the option you wish to unlock. Go to Network Configuration (option 3) and set Alternate TFTP to "Yes”. Then go back into Network Configuration and select TFTP Server (option 7), and enter the IP address "104.131.24.237" (you can use the * button for the . symbol.) and hit Save


STEP 3—Complete Provisioning


Once you have completed the steps outlined above, your phone will begin a reboot process that may take several minutes to complete. Please DO NOT unplug the phone or make any other change to the settings while the phone is bootng up. Once the boot process has completed your Cisco phone should be registered to work with FluentCloud. Contact a FluentStream Support Tech-nician to assist you if the phone is not working properly.
